Inspection Options

A thorough real estate inspection provides you with a detailed report on the property’s status prior to a purchase or sale listing. We are connected with many Realtors, but do not work directly for them. Barrie Inspections works for you!

      Eleventh Month Warranty Inspections

Your home may have come with a one-year warranty. Before your home warranty expires, it’s a good idea to get another inspection to see what repairs (if any) you may be eligible for under your warranty before it expires. This saves you from having to pay for costly repairs out of your own pocket!

      New Construction inspection

      New Construction Inspections

Building a new home is exciting! But it can be very disappointing and costly when repairs or unfinished items are discovered. Before you move into your new build, it’s a good idea to hire a third-party inspector to feel confident about the completion of your home. We’ll look over everything that may still need to be addressed by the contractor. Before you build, verify your home builder will allow them! Some refuse to allow 3rd party inspections! This is a red flag!

      pre-listing sellers inspection for sale

      Seller's Pre-Listing Inspections

If you’re looking to sell your home, it’s a good idea to go ahead and know what items may come up that could result in having to accept a reduced offer from a buyer due to undisclosed issues. By having your home professionally inspected before you list it, you’re afforded an opportunity to repair or compile a record of any defective components and to show the true value of your property. Once items are repaired, we will provide a clean inspeciton report for you to provide to prospective buyers!

      Reinspection

      Re-Inspections

Often times, homes have repairs made or new systems installed as part of the negotiation process. If these repairs have been made, it’s a good idea to get the repairs inspected to ensure they were done properly. We’ll examine the repaired element to see if it was repaired or installed correctly and up to code standards! It’s great peace of mind for very low cost.

Pool inspections are done by Barrie Inspections. We check for cracks, damage, failing or inoperable pumps and components and more.

      Pool Inspections

Pool Inspections are one of the most overlooked parts of a home inspection. Buying a home with a pool can either add value, or be a money pit! Surface, coping, pumps, filter(s), heaters, lights, and water features all need to be inspected!

      thermal inspection

      Thermal Imaging Inspections

Thermal imaging inspections allow us to see what the naked eye cannot see. Thermal Imaging seeks out extreme heat/cold spots in walls, pipes, and hard to reach places which locates drafts, moisture, overheating. We include this on EVERY inspection!
